Hello there,

I'm a bit new to this and haven't had time to attend any training yet - so please gentle with me!

We have a number of departments each with a number of rooms. As each department has a few users that are not members of our Windows domain, I would like to set-up a generic browser account for each department, that can be used via the web Roombooker application. The caveat is that this generic user should only be able to browse the rooms that belong to the appropriate department. I notice that in the settings tab of the CELCAT administrator the default access rights for Room.Booking Requests cannot be changed to deny. So is what I am trying to do possible?

Sorry if I am being thick!

Currently, all users will have view access to all rooms irrespective of department and there is no way of restricting this.  However, users can configure Room Booker to filter displayed rooms by several criteria, incl. site and department.  Room Booker will remember last settings when user logs in.

Furthermore, Administrators can create Room Booker roles with departmental level access rights to ensure that they see requests and book rooms that pertain to their department.
