Hi,

I am in the process of setting up the Web Publisher Tool but i am experiencing problems with the Service Option

The problem that I get is when the Web Publisher Tool is open, I go through all the options, until I get to the Service Option.

I click on start, and after several seconds the current status changes to "stopped"

I then view the log, and this is what is shows:

09/10/2007 13:48:17    -----
09/10/2007 13:48:17    Service Execute

09/10/2007 13:48:22    Timer Fire
09/10/2007 13:48:22    Running
09/10/2007 13:48:22    Default printer driver missing. Please ensure that a printer driver is installed and set as the default printer for the user specified to run the CT WebPub Service
09/10/2007 13:48:22    Stopped Running
09/10/2007 13:48:22    Service Stop request completed.

I have checked and reinstalled the printer drivers, and is setup as the Default Printer (and Only Printer) for the user specified to run the CT WebPub Service.

Hi,

First thing to do is check what account you are using to run the service. This can be checked via run>services.msc. You need to ensure that the account running the service is a domain account which also has local admin rights to the CELCAT Web Publisher system, this can be changed by going into the properties for the service. Once you set the account you then need to give the account a default printer. To do this, logon to the server as the Web Publisher service account and add a printer, this could be a non-existant printer i.e. Laserjet 4. Once you done this stop and restart the service and it should then work fine.

With regards

Chris
