Hi

we have been using CELCAT Attendance for about a year now. One of the issues we have faced is in relation to importing students whose courses contain many options and allocating students to the correct event/register.In particular this affects our Support For Learning department whose students have individually tailored programmes. We therefore cannot make assumptions about which registers are appropriate for students and each register has to be built manually which is time consuming for staff.

I was wondering if any other users have this problem and if they have any creative soutions they would like to share. I doubt there will be a 'perfect' solution for this situation but I would be happy with any solution that reduces the workload!

thanks

Andy

I’ll be interested in some of the responses, at the moment we add groups to the core modules and it is up to the lecturer to notify our admin to which students are to attend an option. I, for the life of me can think of no other option. This does cause additional work and delays the production of the final students timetable
