I want to calcualte utilisation figures for each room but all the rooms currently show  the default value of 100% occupancy. How can I get it to pick up the actual figures from SAT?

Room utilisation is calculated from Room occupancy figures on events (a product of Frequency and Occupancy - please see our Client Stats Help for further details on this)) and so is dependant on the capacity of a room and the number of occupants asigned to the room, so is not picked up from CELCAT Attendance (SAT). Utlilisation can show 100% when default capacity is not specfied in a room. However, these registers would need to be originally generated from events containing Students (so not allocated at register level) then it's possible to generate Frequency and Occupancy statistics, but would not necessarily be a result of actual figures from CELCAT Attendance.

Hope this helps.

CELCAT is developing a browser-based reporting module that provides utilisation based on planned and actual occupancy for comparison.  In the interim, 3rd party software is available that provides the report you're looking for and contact details can be sent if you're interested.
