Hi

 

I was looking for some help, I want to move my celcat install from "old server" running wondows 2003 sp2 and sql 2000 sp4 to a new server "New server" running windows 2008 sp2 and sql 2005 express

 

The old server is using celcat 6.1.0.77

The new server is using 6.4.77.8

 

How can I move the existing database to the new server ??

Hi Brian,

The best way is to backup the database, move the .bak to the new server and restore it. This way you can ensure that all transactions are written to the db. For futher information, please see the following link
