Hi,

I've created a new Timetable Template for a new Academic year, having rolled it over directly from the previous years. However it's completely blank, with no Modules, Rooms, Staff, etc in the database.

I'm trying to delete 2 Event Categories that are now redundant from last year, however i keep getting the error message "Detail records of type 'Booking Requests' for event Catergory............" There are no pending requests as i only created the Timetable template 10 mins ago and i have checked. I'm also at present, the only one with access to the Timetable.

How can i successfully delete these Categories?

Kind Regards

Chris Reilly

Could you try using the event wizard to see if there are any events booked with those categories?

Also there may be an event store that's been rolled over that contains those bookings too?

If you didn't roll over any events then it would be strange to see such a message...

Chris' Build is 6.3.0.40

It is more than likely that the rollover has still carried over some data into the new database relating to room booker. It is relating to your build as it is quite an old one, this is resolved in the later builds.

Check the Event id in the CT_EVENT_CAT table in SQL for the event that you are trying to delete and then check to see if it exists in the CT_BOOKING table. If it does then delete the entries.

You should now be able to delete the Event CAT.
