Can anyone give me more information on how this works?

When testing, the import suggests XX amount of events to be imported, however sometimes only 1 is imported.

regards

Jenni

Hi Jenni

Are you referring to AutoCal?

If you are then AutoCal will only publish to outlook for future events not events/dates that have already past.

Hi

I found out how to do it thanks - just if anyone else wants to know you have to:

1 Save the attachment that's sent to desktop

2 In Outlook, select File, then Import and Export
then Import an iCalendar or vCalendar (.vcs)
then click next

look in desktop
then change file type to: vCalendar format (*.vcs)

then select the file saved and click ok.

the import may take a few minutes.

This imports everything that's sent in the Vcalendar. The only disadvantage we've discovered is that if an event is shared by several tutors and they are allocated specific weeks, this import puts every week into their calendar - not just the weeks they are allocated to.
