If we want to create a recurring event - say a class every Wednesday at 3pm for 3 weeks but we'd like to assign different staff to each week's class, how do we do this efficiently? We'd like to avoid creating 3 separate events but we can' seem to see a way to change just one event. This would be similar to editing one appointment in Outlook calendar vs the series. Any guidance or suggestions would be very helpful. - Tim

This is easy to do: Create your 3 week event, click Staff in the Event window and select the 3 staff (keep the Resource Management window open). Select the name of the first staff on the right hand side, and then look to the top left area of the Resource Management window and set the week of that staff. Repeat this for the other two staff. In the right hand part of the R.M.W. you may be able to see a column which shows which weeks each staff is allocated. If you can’t see this column, click the Additional columns button to select the columns you want. These portions of the event’s weeks are called week segments. You can do this for any resource type and often can result in fewer events which is good. This is a topic covered in basic training –you may be missing out on other good features– perhaps some refresher training would be in order?
