Hello, Room Booker can automatically fire emails to relevant recipients. The following controls allow you to set policies for the 'from' and 'reply to' addresses. Ordinarily when you reply to an email message, the sender's email address is inserted into the 'To' field automatically. The 'reply to' setting enables you to change this behaviour somewhat, as for example, an email might be from a 'default sender', but you could specify that the email address of the 'requester' is automatically inserted into the 'To' field when replying. The drop-down lists provide specific choices (detailed in table below) while setting the policy. Click the drop-down button to display the list, then select an item in the list. The drop-down button now displays the current setting. 'Booking Requests' Drop-down List: Set the 'from' address and 'reply to' address policy for booking requests. This email is fired after making a room booking request using Room Booker. 'Booking Notifications' Drop-down List: Set the 'from' address and 'reply to' address policy for booking requests. This email is fired after a rooming administrator using the Room Booker Requests Window grants the requested room. The automated result is that the room is allocated to the event, the status of the request changes from 'requested' to 'completed' and an email is fired to the requester. 'Meeting Invitations' Drop-down List: Set the 'from' address and 'reply to' address policy for meeting invitations. Meeting invitations are sent from Timetabler Room Booker's Booking window > Participants section or Timetabler Client's Room Booker Requests window > Menu: Edit > Booking Details window > 'Participants' Listbox. 'Default Sender' Field: Insert the email address of the default sender. This address is selectable for the 'from' and 'reply to' settings described above. 'Default Department...' Field: You may specify here the department to be associated with an event created as the result of a request from Room Booker. The attached table lists the setting options for 'from' and 'reply to'. |
