- Following moved from Feature Requests area:

I have just installed Room Booker module and I was wondering is there a guide available on how to set this up.

Mainly on the email process, what needs to be configured and how it must be setup, so when a booking is made online, that it goes to one or many users for action.

As there is no help guide on the website.

If anyone else has implemeted Room Booker can they please be kind enough to let me know how they did the setup.

I have a guide on creating room booker roles with departmental access rights to ensure that they can only see requests and book rooms that pertain to them. I will send this to you. Please contact Tech Support for assistance on configuring email policies using Administrator or view the Help file in Administrator under Timetable Setup Tabs/Settings.

Hi Tony,

To connect to Roombooker you need to first setup CELCAT Webserver. Once webserver is setup then you can connect to Roombooker by using http://machinename:8080/roombooker. This will then bring up the logon screen for the timetables, the same as we do in Web Server. Once logged into the Roombooker system you can then click Help at the bottom of the screen for find out further information about Roombooker and how it works.

Hi CELCAT Support,

 

I have CELCAT Webserver up  and running but when I type in the Roombooker URL from my client pc I have no luck.  i.e http://mis1:8080/roomboooker doesn't work.  Can you help?

Hi Frank

your url should read "roombooker" not "roomboooker"

Hi Tim,

Could you forward the guide to me please as we have roombooker on evaluation and at present it doesnt seem to work properly.

Therefore a guide would be very helpfull.

If you log into Roombooker, there is a link at the bottom to the help pages which should answer common questions. If you are unable to log into roombooker or have further questions then please email support@celcat.com
