Following on from some of the discussions what would be really useful is if the were some kind of output (csv, xls etc.) that gave a list of available slots by room. I realise this is available graphically through the room usage report, however  a flat file output could easily be analysed through Excel or Crystal and would target rooms with available space. Additionally, as far as I can see, there are no filters within the Room Usage report (e.g. Site, Room Type, Capacity).

To provide an example of why this would be useful the IS manager recently asked me to provide infromation on available slots in IT rooms. Within the software the only available option was to provide a % of time available through the statistics, however, this gave no indication of whether the available time was useful (i.e. a 2 hour slot) or not (i.e. 4*15 minute slots). The alternative was to sit down with the room usage report and manually create a list which is obvioulsy very time consuming.

Please add this as a feature request (Community>Feature Requests) for it to be reviewed by development and account managers at our next meeting.

Further to my previous post, if you require something developing for yourselves then please contact your account manager to disucss but this will be chargable as it will require development work. You could use the Office Wizard output against room stats but I'm not sure if this is what you require. You an also use the Com Library to link to CELCAT if you have the skills to do this onsite?
